This helps new experimenters get up to speed faster, while allowing Data teams to spend more time on high-impact work, like building strong partnerships with stakeholders and influencing key business outcomes, rather than reviewing every experiment detail.
As you write a hypothesis during experiment setup, you’ll get instant feedback based on criteria like target audience, trade-offs, and expected impact. This is designed to catch common mistakes early and guide experimenters toward clearer, more testable hypotheses.
These criteria are fully customizable, so teams can tailor guidance to their own standards and experimentation philosophy. Below is an example of the instant feedback that helps improve a hypothesis during experiment setup:

Statsig already generates a robust experiment summary that captures key details and can be exported as a PDF for reporting. Now, our AI automatically turns experiment results into a clear, human-readable summary that helps teams quickly share learnings with stakeholders and drive key product decisions.
The AI summary is designed to understand the purpose of the experiment, make a ship recommendation, and highlight the most relevant metric observations. This makes it easy for anyone to quickly grasp the key findings at a glance.
When you navigate to the Summary tab of an experiment, you’ll see the AI-generated summary option. From there, you can continue adding sections and charts to capture additional context as needed.

While the knowledge base has always supported text search to surface tribal knowledge, you can now search your experiment repository using natural language, not just free-text queries. (this feature is currently available in Beta for Warehouse Native customers)
You can questions like “find me experiments that impacted retention the most” or “have we tested using AI for support”. The new search feature will then return three of the best-matching experiments to your question.

We’re also seeing AI drive real gains in developer productivity and efficiency.
We recently introduced a GitHub integration that gives Statsig deeper context about your codebase.
One powerful use case is identifying stale feature gates and generating a PR with a single click to clean them up—directly from the Statsig console. Cleaning up old feature gates is often deprioritized by engineers over net new features. Over time, this quietly accumulate technical debt.
By automating stale gate detection and writing code to remove unwanted feature branches, developers can save time, maintain cleaner code, and improve application performance.
So far, our AI has mostly unlocked value using context from the Statsig console and our documentation. Next, we’re working on expanding that context to include your codebase to enable more powerful agentic workflows.
Our goal is to strengthen the connection between your codebase and key Statsig entities, including feature gates, experiments, and metrics. By closing the loop between where code lives (GitHub) and where its impact is measured (Statsig), there will be richer context around the events being logged, features exposed to users, and the intent behind each gate and experiment.
