Matt Garnes has a background in software engineering with significant experience at Facebook, where he worked for almost 5 years, adding features and updates to Facebook Profile/Timeline.

He also had a role as a Software Development Manager at Cyanogen, where he managed a team of engineers and contributed to the CyanogenMod open-source project.

Later, at Meta, he worked as a Software Engineering Manager for over a year before moving on to his current position as a Software Engineer at Statsig.

His work has included extending Android operating systems, creating APIs, collaborating with the open-source community, and leading multiple concurrent projects.

When he's not writing code, Matt can be found spending time with his family and playing guitar.
