GENERAL

Is a user counted in event_dau metrics for multiple days if they trigger the same event on different days?

In the context of event-based metrics, particularly the event_dau metric, it is important to understand how users are counted over multiple days. The event_dau metric is designed to count the number of distinct users or devices that have triggered a specific event on a given day.

This means that if an individual user triggers the same event on consecutive days, they will be counted as a unique user for each day that the event is triggered. The metric is focused on daily activity, and as such, it does not aggregate users over multiple days but rather provides a snapshot of unique interactions for each day separately.
